On a day when the football took a back stage as
City fans protested about Chairman Smith and
his disire to detroy our club, visitors Rushden
& Diamonds were promoted to Div 3.
The Chester faithful staged a march from the
Kwik Save, along Bumpers Lane to the ground at app 2.00pm.
Supporters from Rushden also joined in on
the march as a show of solidarity amongst true
supporters and how these crack pot Chairmen are
killing the smaller clubs in England.
City more than matched the Champions and took the
lead on 58 mins with a CRAIG GAUNT header.
Rushden were soon back on level terms,
central defender also scoring with a header on 60 mins.
Jon Brady secored the win for the visitors after

Up to a 1000 City supporters joined
the march to the ground, also many
Rushden fans came along as well.

The support for Manager Graham Barrow
still grows,once a gain a City
